PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
AISI 316 stainless steel is derived from classic 18/8 stainless steel (304) with the addition of molybdenum, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-rich and marine environments.
- Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to seawater, chemicals, and acidic conditions.
- Heat Resistance: Maintains strength and stability up to 800℃.
- Weldability: Outstanding welding and forming properties with low risk of sensitization.
