SUS 403 Seamless Stainless Steel Tube (UNS S40300 / 12Cr12) is a martensitic stainless steel tube containing 12% chromium as its main alloying element. With proper heat treatment, it delivers excellent mechanical strength, fatigue resistance, and oxidation resistance under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
The material maintains stability in continuous high-temperature environments and offers moderate corrosion resistance through a chromium passivation film. This makes it a preferred choice for turbine blades, rotors, high-temperature fasteners, boilers, and energy equipment components where durability and reliability are critical.
