PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

310 stainless steel plate is a high-alloy material with excellent oxidation resistancecorrosion resistance, and high temperature strength. The superior oxidation resistance comes from the formation of a stable chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) layer on the surface, which protects the metal from further oxidation.

With a chromium content of at least 20% and nickel-enhanced alloying, ASTM 310 stainless steel maintains strength and durability at elevated temperatures. It is widely used in high-temperature equipment and industrial applications.

FEATURES

  • ✅ Excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance
  • ✅ High-temperature resistance up to ~1000°C
  • ✅ Strong mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥ 520 MPa, yield strength ≥ 205 MPa, elongation ≥ 40%
  • ✅ Easy to cut and process
  • ✅ Lightweight and durable

APPLICATION

  • Heat exchangers and furnace components
  • Combustion chambers and furnace doors/walls
  • Gas turbine components
  • Incinerators and recuperators
  • Welding filler metal and high-temperature industrial equipment

ADVANTAGES

  • Can withstand harsh chemical environments (acid, alkali, salt)
  • Superior performance at high temperatures compared to standard stainless steels like 304 or 316
  • Smooth surface and consistent quality for industrial fabrication
  • Suitable for both OEM and custom engineering applications
